We are now offering Virtual Consultations!

Here at The Practice, we are proud to be able to offer clear aligners to our patients.

Clear aligners are becoming more popular because they are not only virtually invisible but are also more comfortable than braces that are made of metal. These clear trays can also be taken out so you can eat comfortably and properly clean your teeth.

All of the aligners are custom made to fit your mouth. They slowly move your teeth to where they should be. The aligners will keep moving your teeth until they are in the right place. Every few weeks, you will get a new set of aligners.

Not everyone is a candidate for clear aligners. We invite you to come in for an exam and consultation. At that time, we will go over all of your options with you.

How are Clear Aligners different than Traditional Metal Braces?

Like traditional braces, clear aligners move teeth with gentle pressure over time to get them to where they need to be. However, they don't use wires or brackets made of metal allowing you to avoid the "tin grin" look of traditional braces.

Every few weeks, you'll switch out your ClearCorrect braces for a new set of aligners. Each set of aligners guides your teeth into their optimal position.

Make sure you wear your clear braces for at least twenty hours a day in order to get the best results from them. Treatment time varies based on what your unique needs, but it usually lasts from six months to two years.

There are many reasons to choose clear braces instead of traditional braces, such as: with aligners, it is much easier to keep your teeth healthy because you can take them out to properly brush and floss your teeth.

Clear aligners are made just for your mouth, which makes them a more comfortable option.  You may feel a little discomfort in the first day or two of wearing your new aligners but that typically passes quickly. For people who grind their teeth, they can also be useful. The aligners will protect you from grinding your teeth.
